Big Day!

Today I am realizing a huge dream. I have generally focused on film and theatre for most of my life as an interest and pursuit. But I have always had this nagging dream of a fantasy novel nipping at my heels. Embarrasingly, it came to me when I was a 10 year old and saw Star Wars for the first time. I pretty much pushed it away for years, aspiring to more existential ideas and 'real art', like Scorsese, Cassavetes, Bertolucci, etc.

But as I got into my 40s I ...realized...it's not going away. So, for the past...oh, I don't know...6-7 years, I have been working on it. And today it goes online at Amazon. I'm extremely proud of it. Its called The Road of Fathers. I'm currently working on the second book, The Road to Anarchy.

The cover illustration was done by my amazingly talented niece, Taylor Barron. The cover layout was done by my super awesome sister, Theresa Barron Domingo. It was edited by Lisa Clausen (with previous editing help from Sho Shana). Formatting and hand holding was done by Bill Raymond with Optical Authoring.
